That was a long night!! We were battered with winds and rains in this neck of the woods, with trees and powerlines down, as we tried to get back from our Divine Service. The raging winds carried on through the night, and then I awakened to the sweetest trilling voice of a bird singing his heart out as if the night had never happened.

Not many birds sing through the winter time. The Robin invariably does, but I believe it was the Song Thrush greeting the coming dawn while it was still pitch black outside.

Though not striking in appearance or particularly colourful, apart from a few who may have a splash of yellow or red, he makes up for it with his beautiful voice. He is a woodland bird, but is seen in local parks and gardens all the time, and as a musician, he has at least 100 musical phrases in his repertoire. He was indeed a beautiful sound after the storm. Now that is an alarm clock I won’t hate!

Jim Walker battled those winds last night to join us as our Guest Medium. We were so happy to have him, as he shared his loving address, and thoughts and brought our beautiful messages with humour and fun. Thank you so much Jim for coming to us. We will see you later in the year!

Thank you to our readers, our healers, our food angels and Carole for making more yummy cake. We are getting spoilt!! Julie ran our music beautifully, and Alison chaired the evening.

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for healing in horrific war torn and violent situations, and very importantly incredible hope, so that they can endure some of these lengthy clashes in this world after already losing so much. Hope is a gift to help us travel further. May they hold hope truly in their hearts, as others work to resolve things in Peace.

Calendar up later.

Have a beautiful week everyone!!
