You know there is hope when the catkins are out. For sure they are a herald of Spring. The Birch catkins are out early so that is a definite pointer. Catkins are usually pollinated by the wind. although some can be insect pollinated also, covering all bases.
The name derives from the Dutch name Katteken, which means Kitten, as they resemble fluffy kitten tales. They have unisex flowers and although they don’t look like flowers, their drooping nature helps pass on the pollen they hold, more easily, as the wind blows.
Last night in Chawton, there was a lot of passing on of messages and information as we got extremely close to Spirit. Rob took us out of the box completely as he passed on messages from Spirit for our congregation. The energy was high and serene, and the door between Circle and Church was opened wide, as some questions were answered also. House Mediums were on hand to confirm what they were sensing as well. A special night indeed.
Thank you for readings and prayers which helped set the tone. Thank you all who help with set up and music and tea and snacks and of course our Healers.
Sarah chaired the evening beautifully with her effervescence.
