I think after the onslaught of relentless rain, we deserve a cheery picture of daffodils, and amidst the rain, potholes, and wet ‘muddy dogs, their beautiful ‘yellowness’ is showing up everywhere, despite weather conditions to try us all.

Daffodils actually do well in full sun but they are obviously more than determined this year, and they are a symbol of rebirth and a sure sign of Spring. The Romans planted a version of them to remember those fallen in battle, They are thought to hail from Spain and Portugal, where there is such a large variety of them, and they have been embraced as the national flower of Wales.

Well many braved the weather and embraced our gathering last night in Chawton. Dave Collins gave a thoughtful address and brought some lovely messages. Thank you so much Dave, also for braving the rain and getting to us.

Thank you to our Readers, and Food Angels, and Music and of course our Healers standing by after the service.

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for the homeless. Can you imagine to be outside in the elements at any time, but especially with the bad weather.

Have a beautiful week!!

Calendar up next. March beckons..!!
