These darling little flowers start to appear in Spring time. They are of course Forget-me-nots. So delicate yet excellent for all pollinators stopping by for a feast.
They are a beautiful blue usually, but can be pink, white or even yellow. (I prefer that pretty blue.) Despite their delicate appearance they are very hardy little gals, and will grow almost anywhere, and the wild variety is native to The UK
Legend goes that a Knight picked flowers for his Lady Love, and then fell off his horse, into a pond and sank due to his armour- hence the name, but how incredibly sad!!. All that remained was the flowers he had picked. A token off his true love and devotion.
We had a lovely evening full of Love and inspiration last night with Jim Demitri visiting us. Jim brought a beautiful inspired address and many lovely messages for us. Thank you so much Jim. We loved having you!!
Thanks to Steve who chaired so well and all of our readers. Thank you to Carole again for yet another Divine cake that seemed to disappear very quickly, Hospitality Angels Sue and Nerina, Julie on music, Healers on hand afterwards, and all those who set up and break down our gathering!!
Prayer of the week.
Please pray for PEACE in this world. Situations are escalating in many places, and we need to bring harmony and safety back to so many lives in turmoil and peril.
Calendar up next.
Have a beautiful week but keep layering up!!
