Wonderful Wisteria. Through late April and May we have seen this beautiful climber around houses and buildings. She also can be trained to grow up as a tree, and although not native to The UK but hailing from the likes of China, Japan, Korea and The Eastern United States, she has become the quintessential adornment for a lovely English garden.

She was introduced into Britain by John Reeves a Chief Inspector of tea in Canton China, as he was commissioned to bring plants for The Horticultural society in London, and we have been grateful ever since. She comes in the beautiful colours of pink, white, blue and of course that beautiful and stunning purple/mauve.

She has a pretty fragrance and catches the attention of the pollinators, as bees just love her as do other insects, and you might see birds snacking on the buds as they come out in Springtime. (A word to the wise – she can be poisonous to humans and pets alike.)

She symbolizes Love, transformation and the passage of time.

Well we had plenty of Love and hopefully transformation with much laughter last night as our friend Jeanette Foote came to visit as our Medium. Jeanette gave a wonderful address about connection, from human connection to Spirit connection, and gave us much pause for thought. She then brought so many messages, which were full of love for our Church. Thank you so much Jeanette for your hard work. We loved having you!

Thank you to everyone who gave prayers and readings. Thank you again Carole for that lovely cake. Thank you Food Angels Sue and Nerina. Thank you Julie on music, and our Healers standing by and everyone who sets up and breaks down each week.

Prayer of the week.

In light of the D day commemoration last week, may we say prayers of complete healing for the less than 200 veterans of allied combat who are still here. May they have a Peace and a softness with their memories.

Calendar will be up next.

We are still waiting for flaming June. There’s time!!

Have a beautiful week Everyone!!
