If you are lucky you may see this beautiful fella in your garden. The stunning Goldfinch is usually found in farmland and open country but for the right snacks like sunflower hearts or at least seeds he may make an exception.

He is not only handsome but full of personality and very social with other birds, and a gathering of his own kind is called a charm. He breeds later in the season, probably to make sure he can access those nuts. seeds and thistles that he loves so much and probably a few insects once the chicks arrive. His song is a tinkling twittery pretty one. Listen for it..

His symbolism is one of being a harbinger of good fortune and joy, and it has been a glorious weekend of joy. Saturday was our coffee morning with visiting mediums Lesley Knight and Pink Sarah. They were busy bringing wonderful messages for so many. Thank you Ladies so much !!! We had a wonderful time! Thank you to our House Mediums also!! Healing was on hand. Thank you Ken and Barbara. The beautiful flowers, good conversation tea, coffee and delicious baked goods made for a lovely morning well spent.
