For those who are early risers, this bright morning star is well visible in the pre-dawn sky right now, especially if the promise of a new day is also cloudless, for at about 3.30am, this bright ‘star’, also known as Venus, appears in the heavens At this time, she is the widest distance from the sun, which takes her out of the immediate glare. She has famously given her name to the Goddess of Love in Greek mythology, and has inspired much creativity and poetry from the ancients and from those in current times. She is also known as The Evening Star, seen after sunset, completing our earthly day, Spiritually reminding us of divine love and harmony. And of course, most importantly-Jesus is referred to as The Bright Morning Star that appears before dawn and heralds in The Light.
I think it is fair to say that the harmony and gentleness of our beautiful Healing Service last night in Chawton was felt by all. We enjoyed beautiful prayers, readings, and then thoughts shared by Rob. Healing followed during the service. We had a little extra time to chat and eat some of the lovely offerings from Carole afterwards. Thank you to our readers, healers, music team, Carole, and Nerina, and for the setup and break-down of the evening.
Prayer of the week
Please pray that the so-called ordinary people can rise up against the inequities of this world and reclaim their rights to live in peace without the greed and violence that invades their lives.
