A beautiful Tawny owl perches with perfect camouflage, and actually, the best camouflage in the world for an owl. They morph their colour in an evolutionary way to match their local climate and environment. These nocturnal birds can be found in the UK in woodlands, but make appearances in our rural gardens. The male and female together will create that classic tawny owl call. These birds are monogamous, and they will raise a brood each year during their breeding lifetime.

They are found throughout England, Wales, and Scotland, but not Ireland, probably because they are not fond of flying across large bodies of water. Did you know that one ear is actually higher than the other to hear prey more specifically, and then fly almost silently with their well-adapted wings. Males and females appear very similar, but the female is a little larger. Spiritually, their symbolism is quite obviously wisdom, as seen by all the teacher motifs, but also Spiritual insight. Something we can never get enough of.

We had a weekend! We kicked off Saturday with our Coffee, Clairvoyance, and Healing. Our mediums were Helen Atkins, Lorraine Francois, Eve Cowell, Sarah Dorgan, Virginia Gordon, Rob Harvey, and Steve Lidgett Williams. Thank you so much for your messages. Our Healers were Julie Shearman Searle, Jane Trillaud, Steve Lidgett Williams, and Alison Keogh. Thank you to our Healers for all the work you do.

The baked goods selection is always ‘off the charts.’ What a delicious selection accompanied by coffee, tea, and service. Thank you, Chris, and Sue et Al. We thank our coordinators also for running things so smoothly, Aimee Andrews, Steve Lidgett Williams, Lisa Wyness, Chris Shore, and Rob Harvey. What a lovely morning!!

Last night in Chawton, Sarah Wawman was unable to be with us. We had, instead, a teaching evening of Clairvoyance led by Rob Harvey, chaired by the lovely Chris Shore. Our ‘In House’ Mediums assisted learning fledglings to bring messages for the family. It was a lovely evening of learning, understanding, and always laughter. Rob also gave an address reminding us just what can be achieved during our Coffee Mornings. Thank you to our mediums and fledglings.

We also want to thank Lisa for the music, Carole and Sue for those delicious baked goods from Saturday, and of course, our healers, always standing by afterwards, and I can only imagine the amount of washing up this weekend. Thank you Ladies!

Prayer of the week

The weather will start dipping down. Please pray for the homeless. How awful to be in the elements as the weather gets colder. May they find help is coming, and may they find friendship along with warmth and food.

The calendar will be up soon.

Have a beautiful week!
