We gathered yesterday in Chawton on what had been a mixed weather day. It was Palm Sunday, and we had such a lovely array of flowers. Thank you to everyone who brought those in.

Eve Cowell was in the house, and we were delighted to see her. Eve shared some inspired thoughts and brought us our wonderful messages. What a lovely evening! Thank you, Eve!! The evening was chaired by our lovely Chris Elliot, during which we heard beautiful readings and prayers from the family. Cake never disappoints. Thank you, Carole, and thank you, Sue, for the hospitality. Julie was running our music, as we sang some old favourites. Thank you.

Our healers helped anyone in need after the service, and as usual, the setup, break-down, and the washing up have become a fine art.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

Please pray for those affected in the meningitis outbreak. It can be devastating for people and their families. May everything be brought under control, and those affected heal quickly. We send our prayers and love to families who have suffered the passing of loved ones.
