As the sun plays hide and seek with us, giving us full rays one day and then hiding behind clouds the next, we have the Silver Birch and her golden yellow leaves to look forward to and give us a taste of her sunshine colour.

Her beautiful white silvery trunks and those bright lemony leaves are a stunning sight in any woodland. She is a native of UK, and a very hardy tree, being frost resistant. It is said that on barren land or land that has seen fires, she may be the first to regenerate.

In Celtic mythology she was held most sacred symbolizing beginnings and protection. She is also healing, as she has properties that are anti inflammatory, diuretic and immune boosting. Always consult a professional before experimenting with Birch. She can be very strong and potent.

Last night Spirit was very strong as we enjoyed an In House Clairvoyant evening. We were down a few House Mediums due to sickness and travel, but Rob and Steve brought our lovely messages and fledgling Alison shared her ‘sensings.’ Rob brought us a lovely address of understanding about Clairvoyance, and how it works.

We had lovely readings and prayers, sang lovely hymns, as Alison Keogh chaired the evening. Hospitality did not disappoint with the offerings along with tea and coffee afterwards. Julie ran our music and our Healers stood by for healing afterwards also. Thank you to those ones dealing with all the set up and break down of the evening !!

Please pray for ALL the places in the world where there is conflict.

Ukraine, Gaza, Beirut, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Libya, Central African Republic, Rep of Congo, Colombia, Myanmar, and the list goes on.. It is shocking. We don’t have to figure out how Peace comes, but just believe that it can.. We are so fortunate even with our challenges to live in reasonable stability.

‘An Evening of Clairvoyance’ Sunday in Chawton.

Our own Nerina Dannat brought the messages last night and gave us a lovely address. We had a lovely time. Thank you Nerina!! The evening was chaired by lovely Chris Shore who kept us in line and on schedule.

The colours are beginning to show. With the endless flip flopping of British weather, from bright blue skies to downpours, Nature does not seem that confused as the colours of the season are starting ready for the absolute beauty of the rural land as we move into, and through October.

We are reminded at this time, that Change can be beautiful and bring new things to open up our lives, if we would just allow the shifts in our lives to move through us, and without resistance.

We went with the flow last night, as Nerina stepped up to serve, and brought a beautiful message about being still and listening, even just setting aside five minutes a day to access the help that Spirit wants so much to give us. She also brought some lovely messages for some. Thank you so much Nerina!! A lovely evening, that seemed cloaked in a gentleness.

Chris Shore chaired the evening in her usual warm way and we had beautiful prayers and readings. Thank you Everyone! Thank you Lisa on music as we sang some of our ‘faves!!’ Hospitality was on form. French horns with tea and coffee – Thank you Carole. (There were also some cakes left over from Chris Elliot’s so successful Macmillan coffee morning earlier in the day!) Healers were on hand afterwards, and so many willing hands setting up and breaking down the evening, as we left during yet another downpour. Trust everyone got home safely!
