And the pollinators are still going… I was amazed as I sat in my garden yesterday, on what was a beautiful summer’s day and watched the Bumble bees delving into bloom after bloom like there’s no tomorrow.

Bumble bees can function in colder temperatures and low light. so they will be going until they cannot. The Queens will live about a year, but the workers a measly 4 weeks. That does not seem fair!

Their colonies are underground, and they have no problem taking over an old nest of some other animal and making themselves at home. How do you tell an old Bumblebee? Well his wings have a little wear and tear and so are a little ripped and raggedy… I guess it’s the same for us all on this physical plane.

Their symbolism is one of hard work, diligence and productivity. The honey being the reward. Oh does that ever sound like a Spiritual lesson for us as we ourselves travel through life..

We welcomed a new medium to us yesterday in Chawton, as Kevin Trefry came to visit us. We had a lovely evening! He shared inspired thoughts to remind us to keep those healing thoughts going out, as we never know despite someone’s behaviour, what they are going through. He also brought our lovely messages!! It was a lovely evening with plenty of laughter. Thank you so much Kevin!! We will see you later in the year!

Thank you to Lisa on music, our readers, Carole again for cake that everyone lines up for! Thank you to our Healers on hand afterwards. Alison chaired the evening for us, and thank you to all those who set up and break down every week.

Let us not forget – Happy 57th anniversary to Barbara and Ken…!!!

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for a ceasefire in Gaza between Hamas and Israel. The talks have started, and no doubt there will be endless conditions on both sides, but may this be a stepping stone to a better day.

Calendar up next.

It looks like another truly summer day in this neck of the woods. Take time to stop and smell the roses.

Have a beautiful week Everyone!

We enjoyed another lovely Wednesday evening gathering yesterday. Thank you for all the thoughtful prayers and readings, and thank you to our healers standing by after the service for those who wanted healing.

Kevin Trefry is with us Sunday in Chawton. See you there!!

Please continue to pray for the bullied and the bullies in this world.

A Hazel dormouse takes a much needed nap! He is known for napping, and hibernating for up to seven months during the winter. This is probably how he got his name – from the French word ‘dormir’ – to sleep.

He will build summer nests to maintain his body temperature, and he is actually the only native dormouse, and slightly smaller than the other two more invasive species in Britain. He is protected as numbers have dwindles, alas due to his woodland fast disappearing, but there are conservation efforts underway.

He will feast on berries, flowers and some insects and caterpillars of his choice, and his Spiritual symbolism is that of cycles of life, duality and patience – something we could all do with!

Last night we had a wonderful evening in Chawton as Gillian Blaize came to visit. She shared a lovely inspired address on the way of Peace and Love being the only way forward for us all, and then brought some lovely messages for some. Thank you so much Gillian for a truly lovely evening!!

Chris Shore chaired the evening with her usual grace, and we had readings and the healing prayer from the family. Thank you so much Julie on music! Happy Birthday for today! Thank you Carole. We knew there would be amazing cake afterwards. Thank you healers on hand, and everyone who sets up and breaks down the evening.

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for those being bullied, especially the young children who can be bullied at school or online, and those children who are driven to do this. Some young ones have taken their own lives – seeing no way out, but also pray for the bigger bullies in this world. Many in leadership positions causing such misery for those they oppress.

Calendar up tomorrow.

Have a lovely week everyone. No rain dances!!

We gathered for another lovely Wednesday evening service last night, after what had been a reasonably sunny day. The readings and prayers inspire us. Thank you everyone!

Please continue to pray for those in pain of all kinds in this world.

Gillian Blaize is with us Sunday in Chawton.

See you there!!
