Another lovely Wednesday evening on zoom. Even though we had a few technical problems, we managed to gather and have a lovely service. Thank you everyone for this special time in the week. and the lovely readings and prayers. Thank you to our healers who stood by and gave healing after the service!!

Please continue to pray for the war torn places of violence and that people and all the inhabitants of the land would have Peace Healing and incredible Hope to endure these lengthy conflicts.

We will see some of you Sunday in Chawton!!

That was a long night!! We were battered with winds and rains in this neck of the woods, with trees and powerlines down, as we tried to get back from our Divine Service. The raging winds carried on through the night, and then I awakened to the sweetest trilling voice of a bird singing his heart out as if the night had never happened.

Not many birds sing through the winter time. The Robin invariably does, but I believe it was the Song Thrush greeting the coming dawn while it was still pitch black outside.

Though not striking in appearance or particularly colourful, apart from a few who may have a splash of yellow or red, he makes up for it with his beautiful voice. He is a woodland bird, but is seen in local parks and gardens all the time, and as a musician, he has at least 100 musical phrases in his repertoire. He was indeed a beautiful sound after the storm. Now that is an alarm clock I won’t hate!

Jim Walker battled those winds last night to join us as our Guest Medium. We were so happy to have him, as he shared his loving address, and thoughts and brought our beautiful messages with humour and fun. Thank you so much Jim for coming to us. We will see you later in the year!

Thank you to our readers, our healers, our food angels and Carole for making more yummy cake. We are getting spoilt!! Julie ran our music beautifully, and Alison chaired the evening.

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for healing in horrific war torn and violent situations, and very importantly incredible hope, so that they can endure some of these lengthy clashes in this world after already losing so much. Hope is a gift to help us travel further. May they hold hope truly in their hearts, as others work to resolve things in Peace.

Calendar up later.

Have a beautiful week everyone!!

Thank you everyone who gathered with us last night on zoom. We had some beautiful reads. Thanks to Steve for leading us on this particular Wednesday evening. Thank you everyone for your offerings, and always thanks to the healers afterwards. The music was just lovely.

Jim Walker will be with us Sunday!!

Prayer of the week.

Please continue to pray for the leaders of the world to find new ways towards Peace.

See some of you Sunday!!

What a handsome fellow this one is. The Greater Spotted Woodpecker, seen more easily with the leafless trees against some now beautiful blue skies.

He drums away on that bark, and thankfully doesn’t give himself a headache, due to a special bone called the hyoid bone which wraps around his skull, and protects his brain.

The need to drill endlessly into the trees is not just to nest but to communicate, and he has cleverly figured out that if he chooses the harder dead trees, his messages will carry further. Clever chap!

Well our messages Sunday carried to the edge of our Sanctuary!

The fledglings were up!! I think just about everyone got a message or connection. Well done and thank you Sarah, Chris Elliot and Alison!!

The fledglings were under the watchful eye of Nerina chairing the evening, and Steve holding the fort at the back. Such a supportive atmosphere. Thank you for beautiful prayers and readings, and some really nice hymns. Thank you Lisa for running our music. Thankyou Carol for yummy cake, Food angel Sue and our Healers and everyone who helps on a Sunday evening!!

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for our Leaders in this world. So much rests on them to make compassionate wise decisions.
