Whilst driving Mr Shackleton home last night, it was a clear sky with a feel of frost in the air, and we noted a stunning crescent moon in the night sky for us to enjoy as we neared our homes. What I had forgotten temporarily was that there is actually a spectacular Planetary Parade occurring right now.

We certainly have a celestial show in the heavens, as Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn align and can be seen on a very clear night with the naked eye, and Neptune and Uranus with a telescope or binoculars. As February comes to a close, Mercury will join the line-up. This will not be seen again for another forty years!! So look up on one of those crisp, clear nights and enjoy the beauty of creation, even in the dark of night.

Last night in Chawton, we had a wonderful evening chaired by our effervescent Sarah with Q and A for Rob and then clairvoyance from three mediums. It was a lovely night of learning, understanding and messages. Thanks to Christine Elliot, Alison Keogh and Rob Harvey, our President.

Thank you also for the beautiful prayers and readings given. Julie on music, Carole and a strawberry topped cake to cheer our weary winter souls. Thanks to Nerina and Sue for hospitality, and also Lisa. Thanks to healers attending to people after the service, and all the light work that was made because so many people were breaking down the evening, and for all those who set this up diligently week after week.

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for more Love understanding and kindness in our world. What a different place this world would be if all those attributes were offered in all places, especially those of conflict.

**Membership due. See Nerina, or contact the church-acspchurch@gmail.com

Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be any more rain in these parts, the skies become dark and the rain begins again. The weather has been flip flopping from bright blue skies interspersed with clouds and chilly crisp temps, to downpours upon downpours. One of my robins in the garden is, as is all nature, just taking it in his stride and appears with the brighter spells.

This past storm Eowyn has been quite harsh, especially in the north. The Met Office names these storms in alphabetical order with suggested names from the public, collaborating with the weather services from the Netherlands and Northern Ireland. The next name on the list is Floris. Spring is not that far away..

Yesterday evening church was cancelled in Chawton due to the power cuts. We hope we got the message out via sign, email, text and phone plus social media. It was a dirty night. Hope all are safe.

Prayer of the week

Let us keep the same prayer going for the hostages to be returned in Israel, after a hiccup, and that Gaza can return to at least pick up the pieces of whatever is left, mourn and start again.
