Our wonderful Healing Team. They are on hand each week on a Sunday at 8pm. Many of them bring healing Wednesdays also, on zoom, or remotely by request, and last night they brought the healing during our special healing service.
From L – R Chris Elliot, Alison Keogh, Steve Lidgett Williams, Rob Harvey, Julie Searle, Nerina Dannat, Barbara Matthews, and Ken Matthews.

‘Red sky at night, shepherds delight. Red sky in morning, shepherds warning.’ I don’t know about that folklore, but we have certainly been treated to some spectacular pink skies during these quite beautiful, if chilly days.
The light from the sun has further to travel to hit the surface of the earth at sunrise and sunset, and as the blue hues are shorter in wavelength and cannot travel all the way, and are scattered by dust, those in the red zone, that have longer wavelengths, can reach further.. Mixed with white light from the sun, they mix with particles in the atmosphere and create the beautiful colours from salmon pink to lavender. Sometimes I feel like I am driving into a canvas. The world looks aglow in absolute beauty.
And we were aglow last night at our beautiful, peaceful healing service in Chawton. It is such a special time, as we heard beautiful prayers and readings and sang our hymns. Healing was within the service, and so we had a little longer to visit with each other afterwards.
Rob led the evening, and another cake awaited with baked goods, and plenty of tea and coffee Thank you to All our readers, our healers, Julie on music. Lisa, Nerina and Sue on hospitality. Carole on baked goods, and all who set up and break down for us. I hope everyone had a good nights sleep after that!
Prayer of the week
Please pray for The Ukraine and her leader. May the pressure of the nations create a peace that is lasting and allow Ukraine the land that is rightfully hers, and may her people live in the peace that they deserve.
Calendar up next.
Don’t forget the birdseed on these frosty chilly mornings!!

After a heavy day of rainfall, we gathered on zoom on what had become a beautiful evening. yesterday. Lovely words and thoughts were shared. Healing followed. Thank you everyone!
Please continue to pray for our church.
Sunday is our very special Healing Service.
Come and join us for a beautiful and peaceful evening.

The lovely Gillian Blaize came to visit last night in Chawton, giving us a beautiful evening. Thank you so much! Our own Steve chaired the evening and kept us in line!

I think we deserve it. The brightest bunch of yellow King Alfred Daffodils for our viewing pleasure. Drawing the curtains this murky morning, you may have sighed, in this neck of the woods, as yet more rain and grey skies welcomed the day, but it has already brightened These wonderful flowers will be out somewhere, braving the rollercoaster of weather with the rest of us and soon it will be evident that the season’s are a changin’ as every verge, every village and most gardens will have this sunny hero to cheer them on into springtime.
Despite the dreary rain last night in Chawton, we felt sunny in our hearts as Gillian Blaize came to visit with her wonderful thoughts and messages for the family. What a wonderful evening!! Thank you so much Gillian for such a lovely visit. Our Steve chaired the evening with his usual humour. Readings and prayers were beautiful. The flower display was especially beautiful. Another Carole creation with cake! Nerina with hospitality, Julie on music, Healers completing the evening, helping everyone who stepped forward. And thank you all those who make light work of set up and break down each week.
Prayer of the week.
Please pray for our church. We have intention to be completely Spirit led. May we be guided and help all those who enter our doors.
Calendar up next.
Have a beautiful week, and when the grey skies come, act as if. and it soon will be a glorious new season!
