Our lovely Barbara chaired the evening as we welcomed Jim Dimitri as our Guest Medium last night in Chawton. Thank you Jim! We had a lovely evening full of humour!!

Well Happy Bank Holiday!! It is hard to believe we are nearing the end of the Summer. The Summer that never was completely, but at least the heather is out giving us a beautiful sight on the common land. It is starting to feel like Autumn in these parts.

She blooms from August through to October in UK, and do you know that she can grow for forty years. Heather is very hardy and has been used through the centuries as fuel, as building material and making ropes. Bees love her also, and Heather honey is very fragrant and popular. It is healing also and is said to help with infections and inflammation. Her symbolism is one of good luck, if she is white especially, and protection, as well as solitude.

Well we had a lovely evening last night, not in solitude, but a smaller gathering on this last hurrah of Bank Holiday weekend, but just a lovely evening with Jim Dimitri visiting us. He shared his lovely thoughts and humour, and brought some lovely messages. for some. We so enjoyed having you Jim!! Thank you!!

Barbara chaired the evening beautifully for us all, as we enjoyed beautiful readings, prayers and hymns. Healing on hand as always, as well as a nice fresh brew of tea and coffee available. Thank you Nerina and Sue. Julie worked our music. Thanks to all who set up and break down each and every week!!!

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for the lonely but also the bereaved. So often those go hand in hand,. So many are facing losses and heartbreak alone and trying to cope with the needs of life with sometimes nobody around to lend a shoulder or a kind word.

Chris Elliot chaired our evening for Spencer Rose yesterday., We had a lovely evening. Thank you!!

If you are lucky you may see this beautiful fella in your garden. The stunning Goldfinch is usually found in farmland and open country but for the right snacks like sunflower hearts or at least seeds he may make an exception.

He is not only handsome but full of personality and very social with other birds, and a gathering of his own kind is called a charm. He breeds later in the season, probably to make sure he can access those nuts. seeds and thistles that he loves so much and probably a few insects once the chicks arrive. His song is a tinkling twittery pretty one. Listen for it..

His symbolism is one of being a harbinger of good fortune and joy, and it has been a glorious weekend of joy. Saturday was our coffee morning with visiting mediums Lesley Knight and Pink Sarah. They were busy bringing wonderful messages for so many. Thank you Ladies so much !!! We had a wonderful time! Thank you to our House Mediums also!! Healing was on hand. Thank you Ken and Barbara. The beautiful flowers, good conversation tea, coffee and delicious baked goods made for a lovely morning well spent.

Well we also had a joyful time last evening with Spencer. That is Spencer Rose coming to visit. What lovely words and thoughts and beautiful messages for us. Thank you so much!! The energy was most definitely high. We loved having you..

Please pray for those who add chaos and hurt to this world for the things they say and post on social media or in life generally. May they practice the pause and think about the responsibility of what they say. Spreading hatred is not a good legacy. Pray that they cease their hurtful ways.
