A Hazel dormouse takes a much needed nap! He is known for napping, and hibernating for up to seven months during the winter. This is probably how he got his name – from the French word ‘dormir’ – to sleep.

He will build summer nests to maintain his body temperature, and he is actually the only native dormouse, and slightly smaller than the other two more invasive species in Britain. He is protected as numbers have dwindles, alas due to his woodland fast disappearing, but there are conservation efforts underway.

He will feast on berries, flowers and some insects and caterpillars of his choice, and his Spiritual symbolism is that of cycles of life, duality and patience – something we could all do with!

Last night we had a wonderful evening in Chawton as Gillian Blaize came to visit. She shared a lovely inspired address on the way of Peace and Love being the only way forward for us all, and then brought some lovely messages for some. Thank you so much Gillian for a truly lovely evening!!

Chris Shore chaired the evening with her usual grace, and we had readings and the healing prayer from the family. Thank you so much Julie on music! Happy Birthday for today! Thank you Carole. We knew there would be amazing cake afterwards. Thank you healers on hand, and everyone who sets up and breaks down the evening.

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for those being bullied, especially the young children who can be bullied at school or online, and those children who are driven to do this. Some young ones have taken their own lives – seeing no way out, but also pray for the bigger bullies in this world. Many in leadership positions causing such misery for those they oppress.

Calendar up tomorrow.

Have a lovely week everyone. No rain dances!!

We gathered for another lovely Wednesday evening service last night, after what had been a reasonably sunny day. The readings and prayers inspire us. Thank you everyone!

Please continue to pray for those in pain of all kinds in this world.

Gillian Blaize is with us Sunday in Chawton.

See you there!!

Viewing footage this morning, I see that UK does have a Hummingbird. (Well not exactly – but a moth aptly named The Hummingbird Moth because of its’ resemblance.) This is news to me, as I adore the Hummingbirds from The Americas.

During extended warm times this moth will arrive from the south of Europe and visit the southern parts of the UK, especially the coastal areas. It is his hind wings that give his orange colour as he is lured to honeysuckle and valerian especially.

He is actually a day flyer and he vibrates and apparently sounds much like a hummingbird, beating his wings at 70 times per second compared with his rival Hummingbird, beating at 80 times per second.

These moths were reported to have flown over the channel in large swarms on D Day. He is considered to be an omen of good luck in general and a spirit visitor.

What a weekend!! The Garden Party was Saturday and it was beautiful and the weather held until a downpour during the auction towards the end!! A lot of chatting, laughing, eating Divine baked goods from Carole and no doubt others. Thank you to all who made this happen. Thank you Rob for lending your beautiful property for us to enjoy.

Sarah Dorgan stepped in for Irene Hall last night and brought our messages from many spirit visitors. What a lovely night of messages for so many. Sarah shared inspired thoughts reminding us to walk a mile in another’s shoes, along with plenty of laughter. Sarah we are so proud of you. You have come into your own!!

Thank you to Barbara chairing beautifully as always. Thanks to our readers and prayer people, Julie on music, plenty of Divine baked goods left from the Garden Party. Thank you Carole et al. Thanks also to Nerina food angel, healers, and those who set up and break down. All of this during a weekend of Wimbledon and the football later Sunday evening! We need a weekend to get over the weekend!

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for all those in pain. Pain can take many forms – physical, emotional, mental, and it can destroy people’s quality of life. There is so much pain of all kinds in this world.

Calendar up tomorrow.
