Our own Nerina chairing for the lovely Lesley Knight last night in Chawton!! We had a lovely time. Thank you Lesley!

Amongst all the trite AI images, a real one. Julian Reid, a New Zealander and wildlife photographer living in Brighton, UK, captures a bunny in daisies.
Driving home on rural roads from Church last evening, we saw one in the road at one point, and then a quick flash of his white behind- and he was gone.
He will dig burrows to be cool in summer and toasty in the colder winter months. These warrens keep him safe also from predators. The predators are usually foxes. The young ones can fall prey to buzzards and to Badgers also.
Farmers and landowners find him a nuisance and unfortunately he has no protection in the UK. He also has a breeding season stretching from February through till late Summer!
There is an old superstition about saying Rabbits on the first of each month. I remember my parents would always do this, but it hails from an old superstition that luck will follow you if you do so.
His symbolism quite obviously due to his breeding ability, is one of fertility and rebirth, but also cleverness and intuition.
Well Lesley Knight our visiting medium last night brought plenty of her own intuition and clairvoyance. She shared a completely inspired address and brought our beautiful messages for some lucky people, along with a lot of laughter. Thank you so much Lesley. It is always so good to see you!!
Nerina chaired the evening beautifully, as we heard prayers and readings from our Church. Thank you to those who helped. Thank you to Food Angel Sue, Julie on music, Our Healers standing by and everyone who helps set up and break down the evening.

You can’t go far in these parts without Elderflower tonic or cordial being offered in the local pubs and eateries, and even though these are usually the commercial brand, Elderflower is a native of our woodlands and also has amazing healing properties. It is Good for the reduction of cold and flu symptoms, and very good for controlling blood sugar.
This would be the time to harvest as late May and June the buds are freshly open and the fresh flowers can be used. Small animals like dormice and voles love to snack on the berries also, as do birds.
Elderflowers have been used for thousands of years. Even during the Roman era, ground elder roots were used to make medicinal ointments.
The origin of the name came from the Greek sambuke, for wind instrument, as the twigs, once pith removed, could be made into whistles.
The Elderflower symbolizes endings and rebirth, and the fragrance was always used to ward of evil spirits and bring blessings to the household.
Blessings abound last night and such a good time with our very good friend Alf Hunt, as he came to visit. There was a lot of laughter and such a good energy of spirit around
Alf gave a lovely inspired address touching on Fatherhood and brought some delightful messages. Thank you so much Alf. We just love it when you come to visit!!
Thank you to Steve who chaired us beautifully through the evening with good humour, and to All for readings and prayers. Thank you Julie on music, Miss Carole and two Divine cakes, Food angels, Healers, and everyone who sets up and breaks down.
Prayer of the week.
