Well, the temperatures are certainly changing, with a chill in the air early in the morning and again in the early evening. The darker evenings have already crept in, and I see the ‘Big Birds’ are arriving again at the bird table after not being seen for dust during the summer! The usual suspects are Mr wood pigeon, the magpies and the jackdaws, all making their presence known once more.

I have also been shooing a few scuttling hedgehogs out of the residential roads. And boy can they run fast for such prickly little hogs! They are busy getting themselves ready for The Big Sleep. All this whilst those leaves are turning from green ever so slowly, so it looks as though the autumn colours will arrive in earnest a little later this year.

On a clear, crisp night, without a cloud in sight, the constellations stand out as clearly as can be against the nights sky. It has, of course, become time for hot drinks, soup and comfort, and I am certainly not complaining!

All seasons have their own unique magic, and this autumnal time is no exception.

We had a busy weekend, as Saturday evening, Rob gave a talk in Chawton on Ghosts and Spirit Attachments and then took many questions. It was a very good night!

Gillian Blaise came to visit Sunday night in Chawton. The energy was just beautiful as Gillian shared such lovely thoughts and brought some truly beautiful messages. Thank you so much!! The calm, cool and collected Chris Shore kept us in order as our chair. Thank you Chris.

Always thanks due to the family for their readings and prayers. Chris had also made cake which was enjoyed by all. Healing followed the service. Thank you. Thanks to all, as always, for set up and break down of our gathering!

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

Please pray for World Peace!

It’s going to be a beautiful week….

Whether the weather be fine,

Or whether the weather be not,

Whether the weather be cold,

Or whether the weather be hot,

We’ll weather the weather

Whatever the weather,

Whether we like it or not!
