The Fawns are finally becoming visible in greater numbers as we move through the summertime. Six species of deer thrive in the UK. The Roe, Red Deer, Fallow, Chinese water deer, Sika, and Muntjac. They can stand still in plain sight, but still be camouflaged. The grace of most deer is legendary.

Only the Roe and the Red Deer are actually native to this land. The Fallow Deer were brought by the Normans in the 11th century. The Sika Deer originated from Asia and were introduced to England in 1860. The Chinese Water Deer were actually brought to London from China, and became resident at Whipsnade Zoo, where they escaped in 1929. The Muntjac, a much stockier species, also came from China in the 20th century. I must confess, the first time I saw a Muntjac at a distance, I thought he was a wild pig running through the woods. Those walking dogs are well aware that the deer are around, for some dog breeds especially, are beyond excited to catch the scent. Even good recall might not cut the irresistible urge to give chase!

We braved the torrential rain last week, and this week we braved the scorching heat and tore ourselves away from a Wimbledon final to head into Chawton, as we were so looking forward to seeing Irene Hall and Em Dowsing. We had a lovely evening with these ladies, as Irene shared beautiful thoughts, and they both gave clairvoyance, sometimes working together on the same reading. We had some lovely messages!! Thank you for your hearts, ladies. We loved having you!!

Readings and prayers from the Family always lift the room. Carole had prepared quite exotic little cupcakes. Thank you! Thank you, music team- Julie and Lisa. Thanks to our healers and everyone who washes up, sets up, and breaks down.

Prayer of the week.

Let’s bring it home. Please pray for Peace in this whole world. Please pray that obstacles to the Peace Deals in the Middle East and Ukraine can be dismantled, and the people and animals of these regions can once more come to calm, so healing can begin.

It would appear that the weather has broken, with a cool breeze this morning. We’ll see.

· One of the lovely things about awakening from sleep, especially near summertime, is the soothing coo coo of the Wood Pigeon. He is maligned as a greedy guts at our bird table, but he is scientifically no different than the dove symbolizing The Spirit and the Dove of Peace, universally known around the world.

Pigeons are intelligent, contrary to belief. His slowness to flutter off from approaching cats is not a lack of brains. In 1995, Japanese scientists even trained Wild Rock Dove Pigeons to distinguish pictures of Monet and Picasso with an accuracy of ninety percent. He has also been used during wartime to carry messages back and forth, bringing valuable information.

In Britain we have the Wood pigeons, the Collared Dove, the Stock Dove, The Wild Rock Dove, (who accounts for the huge feral populations in cities,) and The Turtle Dove, They are all closely related and they mate for life also, which is especially heart breaking when one loses a partner.

Many people keep Homing Pigeons as a hobby. The hippocampus is very developed in all pigeons for navigation, but in these Homing Pigeons, especially so.

Well, we found our own way as homing pigeons to church last night in Chawton. We gathered on Father’s Day, knowing Sarah Dorgan, one of our own, would be in the house. Our effervescent gal brought sweet, inspired thoughts and beautiful messages. Well done, Sarah!! The evening was chaired by the lovely Chris Elliot, and they made such a team!!. Thank you both. So much laughter and fun, and we even managed to sing without music, after a hiccup had us improvising..

The Family brought readings and prayers to lift the energy of the room, and the energy continued with the healing afterward. Thank you, healers. Carole whipped up a beautiful cake and Sue ran our hospitality. Thank you for the set-up and break-down, everyone!

Prayer of the week

Please pray for our world. So much has happened this past week. Our world feels like it’s falling apart sometimes, but we know that The Centre point of it all, our Father holds it. Please send loving kindness and prayers to all the Inhabitants and situations of peril.

Have a beautiful week!!

Stop, however busy, and absorb some of the beauty of the outside.

And just like that, the Oak tree is full of leaves, offering his beautiful green lushness to the woodlands. We take him for granted in Britain. Strong and steady, he is home to so many creatures and life.

There are six species worldwide, but only two are native to Britain. The English Oak and the Sessile. From the bare branches of winter and then the budding in spring of leaves and tiny green flowers, and now marching into the summer when we will see his fullness along with acorns. that will drop during autumn, and then to the winter, seeing him completely dormant, saving his goodness for the coming spring.

He is sometimes ancient and can be identified with his craggy trunks, branches, and hollowness, having lived through many seasons. Some of his kind have grown very large indeed and are called King Oaks, having been around for at least four hundred years, and some for as much as eight hundred years. No wonder his symbolism is that of strength, wisdom, and connection, and folklore is littered with stories, songs, and odes to The Beautiful Oak

We had plenty of connection with Spirit last night in Chawton, with Gillian Blaize coming to visit. Gillian’s humour and inspired address gave much pause, and the messages were lovely. Thank you so much, Gillian! What a fabulous night. Chaired by the lovely Nerina, we also enjoyed beautiful readings and prayers from the family.

Thank you, Sue, for the hospitality, and Julie for our music. Thank you to our healers, always on hand, and all those who set up, break down, and wash up!

Prayer of the week

May we keep all the healthcare workers in our prayers and thoughts. They do so much, sometimes at very difficult times, working schedules that affect their own lives. May we send prayers their way.

Bear with the showers. A little bird tells me we are going to have a beautiful summer!

My relentless nettles have brought this magical creature back. I thought it was early for them but this Brown Hawker female is usually out and about at this time and will be active till October. She is a dragonfly, and her rust coloured wings caught my eye. These intricate wings of a dragonfly or damselfly are like stain glass windows, and her silhouette looks like a nature spirit. A stream runs nearby, and I am sure this makes things perfect for her in ways of laying eggs and hunting. She is a symbol of transformation, joy and lightness of being amongst many other things depending on where you live..

What a weekend!! There was plenty of lightness of being down in Chawton Saturday morning as we hosted our Clairvoyance, Healing and Coffee Morning.! Huge thanks to our visiting mediums- Lesley Knight and Lorraine Francois! Thank you for all your hard work!!

Our House mediums were not dawdling either. Sarah, Nerina, Rob, Virginia and Chris worked their tails off. There were thirty nine readings in all in about two hours. Healing was on hand from Ken and Barbara and Alison and Jane, and we did not stop but to gulp some coffee down quickly!! Others healed also to try and fill the demand. Julie coordinated with Chris Shore, as we yet again enjoyed baked goods divine from Carole and Sue. A very busy and joyful morning for all. Apologies if I have forgotten anyone, we were that busy.. The set up and the flowers were lovely also. Thank you!

Sunday in Chawton did not disappoint. Nerina took the service and brought a lovely address about nature spirits and then brought our messages. Thank you so much Nerina! What a lovely evening chaired by the equally lovely Chris Shore. Thank you for readings and prayers everyone and plenty of ‘tasties’ from Saturday to enjoy!! Healing was on hand as always after the service!!

Prayer of the week

Please pray for our Emergency Services. We are reminded of their role with the recent tragedy in Bicester, in the fire that claimed three lives, two of them firefighters. Please hold their families and friends in your prayers.

Have a beautiful week. Get outside and enjoy!!

April showers bring May flowers! Well I don’t know about showers but we had a few downpours breaking this glorious spring weather, but I see the sky is blue with fluffy clouds this morning. April is known to be unpredictable, and so we cannot delude ourselves to the fact anything can and does happen in April. Most of the old sayings stem from farmers in those older days trying to predict the weather concerning their crops and animals Weather lore is littered with these sayings- ‘The louder the frog, the more the rain.’ ‘If the oak is out before the ash , then we are in for a splash, but if the ash is out before the oak, we are in for a soak.’ Mr Shackleton reminded as we set off to church ‘Never cast a clout till May is out.’ That means don’t discard all your ‘woolies’ just yet until the May flower blooms. Now that’s wisdom!

We had wisdom and plenty of laughter last evening as we had Jenny Docherty to visit with us again. Jenny gave an inspired address and brought beautiful messages for us. Thank you so much Jenny!! What a lovely night! Steve chaired the evening beautifully for us. We started our Easter week as it was Palm Sunday yesterday. We thank those who said prayers and gave readings. We thank the Julie and Lisa team on music. Carole and her smorgasbord of baked goods, our hospitality, our healers, and all those who set up and break down each week.

Prayer of the week

Please pray for our leaders, that they would receive guidance and act in the interests of all those they lead.

Have a beautiful week!

The pollinators are well and truly out in this gorgeous spring weather around these parts, and the emergence of beloved butterflies fluttering around on their maiden voyage is a sight to behold. The beautiful Orange tip male with his stunning orange wing tips and the not so gorgeous white female may have come into view. They can be found in your gardens if you are near meadows or on the edge of woodlands in the UK, Europe, and also some parts of Asia and have even been spotted in the US. Butterflies are the ultimate symbol of growth transformation and freedom. How apt as we near close to Easter.

What a weekend!! Rob Harvey headed a non church event in Chawton on Saturday bringing information and a demonstration of clairvoyance to those who may not come inside a church. He took questions and was joined by Virginia Gordon and Sarah Dorgan bringing the messages. It was a lovely evening!! Thank you to hospitality on that night.

Sunday in Chawton was our In House gathering. Chris Shore kept us in line chairing the evening beautifully, as we heard readings and prayers and an address on Forgiveness by Alison Keogh, followed by clairvoyance from Rob Harvey, Chris Elliot and Steve Lidgett Williams. A warm family night, beautiful messages and plenty of laughter. Spoilt again with cake and baked goods divine, we thank Carole, Julie on music, our healers and all those who set up and break down each week!!

*Les was in church!! It was so good for everyone to see him and I know he enjoyed the evening!

The AGM was last Thursday on zoom. and no one was fired:)

Have a glorious week!! However busy you are, find time to enjoy this season where nature’s beauty lifts the soul!!

I was rather dismayed as I went to the birdfeeder this morning to find my five huge dandelions had disappeared, but of course that is impossible. What they had wisely done was close their petals in the still chilly morn and chilly dew to protect their pollen and their seeds. This ‘weed’ is such a gorgeous sunny plant with amazing healing properties of all kinds. No wonder she is symbolically aligned with transformation, renewal, and hope. She also lifts the spirits with her many slim and beautiful petals and her cheery colour.

We were feeling quite cheery last night in Chawton. Even after losing an hours sleep and springing forward, we were in good spirits. It was Mothers Day and it was a glorious spring day with beautiful blue skies and plenty of sun. We also had Stephen Rowlands coming to visit to give a completely inspired address when he shared his own experiences. and then went on to bring our messages. Thank you so much Stephen. It was a lovely evening! Alison Keogh chaired.

Thank you to our readers, our hospitality, Julie and Lisa make a great team alternating on running our music each week. Hospitality talent never disappoints. Lovely cake and baked goods, Thank you Carole et al. Thank you Nerina and Sue for hospitality help. Thank you to our healers of course, and all who set up and break down.

*And for all who know this wonderful man………LES IS HOME!

Prayer of the week.

Please pray for the victims of Myanmar and the earthquake. There have been miracles being pulled from the rubble. May we hold the thought that there can be many more stories of hope, Please think of all the victims and their families, and include them in your prayers.

COMING BACK ONE MORE TIME

There is a profound mystery in the way the soul journeys beyond the veil, and I have often encountered moments when those who have passed feel the need to return—just for a little while—before they can fully move forward into the next stage of their existence. This experience has occurred in many spiritual settings, whether within a training circle, during a reading, or while demonstrating in church. Time and again, spirits draw close to the earth plane, seeking a final connection before they continue their ascension.

I recall one particularly moving encounter with a young woman whose mother had been one of the most gifted mediums of her time. She had been a woman of great discipline, deeply rooted in her ways. Yet, three years after her passing, she returned with an intensity that was almost tangible. As she drew close to her daughter, I could sense the deep emotions that surfaced within her—perhaps unspoken words, perhaps a lingering attachment. After the reading, I felt a shift in her presence, as if the act of returning had granted her the peace she needed to move on to a higher plane.

Many years ago, while practicing trance mediumship with my family—who themselves were gifted in spirit communication—I observed how the first return to the earthly realm could be an overwhelming experience for some spirits. One gentleman, a World War II fighter pilot, came through with a rush of disoriented energy. His last earthly memory was the moment of his passing in a plane crash, and it was as if he had to relive that moment before he could speak. Yet, once those emotions were released, his soul found clarity, and he was able to communicate freely.

There is also something sacred in the way spirits of those I have helped move on sometimes return—not simply to express gratitude, but to step once more into the world they left behind, gathering their final memories before transitioning fully. I have witnessed this in homes where spirits, once bound to a place for decades, summon the courage to revisit, even if their memories there were difficult. In one instance, while demonstrating in church with two mediums I had been training, I sensed the presence of a woman standing beside the lady chairing. I recognized her as a spirit I had once helped cross over from a house where she had been trapped. She was hesitant but felt safe in the church’s sacred space, allowing herself this one last earthly moment before truly letting go. It was a stepping stone, a final embrace of what once was, before embracing what was to come.

All of this speaks to the vast and infinite nature of existence. We move from one realm to another, guided by unseen hands, carried by divine wisdom. For those of us still in our physical bodies, the fullness of these transitions may be beyond our comprehension, yet time and again, spirit shows us glimpses of this eternal journey. Particularly in circle, where souls find the courage to return, we witness the beauty of release—the spirit’s willingness to face the past and, with newfound freedom, step into the radiance of the next world. It is a testament to their strength, to their free will, and ultimately, to the ever-expanding journey of the soul.

Some need help from a friend to move on.

I have spoken many times about ghosts in houses and how I help move them on and I’m sure I will be doing it a lot more but occasionally it seems that those who pass need help to move on. what I mean by this is when you die you leave your body but you don’t necessarily automatically move on to the next world you will be going to. I’ve come across several cases recently where the spirit after they have died is hanging around almost waiting for permission or advice from someone to move on.

The recent cases I’ve done there are actually asking or wanting to ask someone they love or a friend if they should take that next step. there are millions of souls who are between the Worlds for one to the better way of putting it who are simply Souls who have left the body but not moved on to the next world. there can be many reasons for this they can simply be confused Souls or they don’t want to leave their loved ones.

Last week a young lady who I know very well called me because she was concerned that she felt a spirit in her house. the way I started to help her is the same when I move a spirit or ghost from a house the first thing I need is pictures of every room and the house to see if I can sense something. let me explain that sensing is something after a lifetime of working as a medium that does speed up so things can happen quite quickly and nowadays sensing something there seems to be a link quite quickly.

Once I had seen the pictures it becoming quite clear that there was a young Soul in this house someone who wanted to move on but he was hesitating about it. I could sense straight away and I have come across this before he wanted to ask someone what they thought he should do and once again with this soul it was someone he knew. quite quickly this soul was sensing me and this is what happens all the time because those who have left the body are not normally sensed by anybody with who has a physical body. so to begin with that’s what takes place and they are almost shocked that someone is sensing them but in this case I am a hundred percent sure this was organized,

With most cases that I come across it is very clear that those on the other side in spirit have already organised the connections that take place which is what happened with this one. I could sense a young man there who was slightly in distress but he kind of wanted reassurance and when I spoke on the phone to this young lady and to her boyfriend they put themselves on speaker. I could sense this young man knew her boyfriend in the house and I knew that he had died very quickly and then it became clear with the communication of talking to them and what I was sensing that this young man had died very suddenly. Her boyfriend new who it was with the evidence I gave him.

I could sense with this young man he was asking his best friend who was this lady’s boyfriend on the phone whether he should take the next step which may seem a very odd situation but I come across this many times now where they just want someone to say yes it’s okay to move on. so I asked this girl’s boyfriend over the phone in his mind to say to this person who wanted reassurance, who was asking is this okay. I asked him to say his mind yes it is fine move on. The moment he did that I could sense this young man who unfortunately had committed suicide move on straight away because a friend of his still here in the physical body had said yes it’s okay to move on so he moved on I saw him disappear and moved to the next world.

As you can imagine this was a bit of a shock to the couple that I was talking to on the phone but when I contacted them later that day the feelings that they had in that house had all disappeared. You can imagine this was very strange for them but it’s also quite logical that someone who’s caught Between the Two Worlds if only they can get a message or make contact with one of their best friends when they were in the physical body that is what makes all the difference. I am simply the last link in the chain, this girl sensing him and her boyfriend they were there sensing something but no idea what to do about it but I have a sure it was all arranged beforehand that they called me because I can sense these things and he moves on.

There is so much that we do not understand  but regularly with myself this is what is taking place and all that matters is the people who had a feeling a spirit in their house are relieved because that spirit has moved on and even more relieved knowing that a friend of theirs or a loved one of theirs has come to them and they have said move on to me this is the most beautiful situation and it seems to be happening with myself more and more and it is my privilege to help.
