One of the beautiful things about this springtime season is the constant emergence of life all around us. Surely it is enough to soften even the hardest heart. We seem to be transported to a place of innocence as we see the flowers, trees, and bushes bloom. I am personally transported when I see my stunning lilacs flowering again so boldly, or when I become aware of the ​creatures and their little ones taking their maiden steps.

We think of the badger as a quiet, shy, and reclusive creature. Although nocturnal, this is the time of year when they can often be seen at either end of the day, as the cubs venture out from the sett. The young ones are silly and playful, a complete delight to watch if you are ever fortunate enough to do so. Delayed implantation has allowed the young to be born into a springtime of favourable conditions.

They will grow into hardy creatures, with stout bodies and sharp claws, as well as a not-so-delightful odour to ward off predators! And did I mention they can run up to twenty miles an hour? Not too shabby for a creature that looks just a little clumsy. We can trace badgers in England back at least half a million years, roaming the land alongside wolverines and bears, no less.

The writer Kenneth Grahame cast his character ‘Badger’ as a wise mentor and protector in his beloved children’s book The Wind in the Willows. Little surprise then that the badger’s symbolism is wisdom, along with tenacity and determination. Spiritually, he reminds us to dig down and understand as fully as we are able​, and we are all about that​!

Last evening, after another glorious spring sunny day, our friend Spencer Rose came to visit. What a lovely evening, as he shared his thoughts and brought our ​wonderful messages. We had such a lovely time. Thank you so much, Spencer, for coming to see us! The lovely Chri​s Elliot chaired the proceedings beautifully, as we heard the lovely prayers and readings from ​The ​Family. Thank you.

Thank you, Julie, for running our music last night. Thank you, Sue, for your hospitality, and of course, Carole was in the house producing a very lovely chocolate cake.

We thank our dear healers and those training for helping so many last night, and thanks as always goes to everyone who helps with set-up​, break-down​, and washing up.

Prayer of the Week

Please pray for the Natural World. Sometimes we are the reason for ​their struggles, as we take away land without enough concern for the plight of those who share it. So many are trying to educate us and make us aware of what the land, the waters and the air around us need in order to sustain all the other life that lives and breathes alongside us.

Can You Prepare for When You Die?

One question I hear repeatedly is:

“Is there anything we can do to prepare for death?”

From my experience, the answer is yes — and it is far simpler than people might imagine.

When someone dies, they leave their physical body but remain aware of their surroundings for a short period. Many people stay close to their loved ones for a couple of weeks while they adjust to this new state of being.

During this time, loved ones may sense their presence but often dismiss it.

“I thought I felt them near me.”
“It was probably just my imagination.”

But what if it wasn’t?

Having an open mind and helping your loved ones understand what may happen can make this adjustment period much easier for everyone involved.

Why I Do This Work: Opening Minds to Life After Death

People often ask me why I spend so much time doing this work — giving talks, helping spirits move on, running a church, and sharing my experiences online.

The answer comes from something I have seen many times.

When people die and leave their physical body, they are sometimes completely shocked by what has happened — especially if they never believed in life after death.

Suddenly they realise they are still conscious.

They are still aware.

And they begin to wonder what is happening.

That is why I believe it is so important to simply plant seeds in people’s minds — to open the possibility that life may continue beyond this world.

Sometimes that small idea can make the transition far less confusing.

We welcome Valentine’s week, not necessarily the unceasing rain, but there is much afoot in the world of love. All life in our wet woodlands is gearing up, and amongst them, the rabbits of our countryside are well into their breeding season.

There is only one rabbit species in England, the European rabbit, introduced into England by the Romans in 43 AD, and most probably kept as pets or food. This population was thought to have died out as they were kept enclosed and unlikely to survive in the wild. The Normans then introduced them for meat and fur, but it was in the fourteenth century that rabbits managed to escape and go AWOL. Rabbits, being rabbits, quickly increased in numbers and formed colonies.

Rabbit numbers have declined in the UK, and rabbits are not a protected animal, although certain cruelty laws still apply. Their symbolism is luck, no surprises there, and also fertility. They are associated with the feminine and also the moon. and represent the transition from winter to spring, and renewal

Last night, many braved the rain again to come to our little church with a big heart in Chawton. We were delighted to welcome Lorraine Francois and Alan Salmon as our guests. What a lovely evening of inspired thoughts by Alan, and messages brought by them both. Thank you so much. It was a lovely night. Our own special Nerina chaired the evening. Thank you, Nerina!!

We thank Lisa for running our music. We thank the readers, the hospitality, Carole, and Sue. We thank our diligent healers and trainees, and also those who help with the set-up and break-down. Everyone makes it light work.

Love is in the air!

Some need help from a friend to move on.

I have spoken many times about ghosts in houses and how I help move them on and I’m sure I will be doing it a lot more but occasionally it seems that those who pass need help to move on. what I mean by this is when you die you leave your body but you don’t necessarily automatically move on to the next world you will be going to. I’ve come across several cases recently where the spirit after they have died is hanging around almost waiting for permission or advice from someone to move on.

The recent cases I’ve done there are actually asking or wanting to ask someone they love or a friend if they should take that next step. there are millions of souls who are between the Worlds for one to the better way of putting it who are simply Souls who have left the body but not moved on to the next world. there can be many reasons for this they can simply be confused Souls or they don’t want to leave their loved ones.

Last week a young lady who I know very well called me because she was concerned that she felt a spirit in her house. the way I started to help her is the same when I move a spirit or ghost from a house the first thing I need is pictures of every room and the house to see if I can sense something. let me explain that sensing is something after a lifetime of working as a medium that does speed up so things can happen quite quickly and nowadays sensing something there seems to be a link quite quickly.

Once I had seen the pictures it becoming quite clear that there was a young Soul in this house someone who wanted to move on but he was hesitating about it. I could sense straight away and I have come across this before he wanted to ask someone what they thought he should do and once again with this soul it was someone he knew. quite quickly this soul was sensing me and this is what happens all the time because those who have left the body are not normally sensed by anybody with who has a physical body. so to begin with that’s what takes place and they are almost shocked that someone is sensing them but in this case I am a hundred percent sure this was organized,

With most cases that I come across it is very clear that those on the other side in spirit have already organised the connections that take place which is what happened with this one. I could sense a young man there who was slightly in distress but he kind of wanted reassurance and when I spoke on the phone to this young lady and to her boyfriend they put themselves on speaker. I could sense this young man knew her boyfriend in the house and I knew that he had died very quickly and then it became clear with the communication of talking to them and what I was sensing that this young man had died very suddenly. Her boyfriend new who it was with the evidence I gave him.

I could sense with this young man he was asking his best friend who was this lady’s boyfriend on the phone whether he should take the next step which may seem a very odd situation but I come across this many times now where they just want someone to say yes it’s okay to move on. so I asked this girl’s boyfriend over the phone in his mind to say to this person who wanted reassurance, who was asking is this okay. I asked him to say his mind yes it is fine move on. The moment he did that I could sense this young man who unfortunately had committed suicide move on straight away because a friend of his still here in the physical body had said yes it’s okay to move on so he moved on I saw him disappear and moved to the next world.

As you can imagine this was a bit of a shock to the couple that I was talking to on the phone but when I contacted them later that day the feelings that they had in that house had all disappeared. You can imagine this was very strange for them but it’s also quite logical that someone who’s caught Between the Two Worlds if only they can get a message or make contact with one of their best friends when they were in the physical body that is what makes all the difference. I am simply the last link in the chain, this girl sensing him and her boyfriend they were there sensing something but no idea what to do about it but I have a sure it was all arranged beforehand that they called me because I can sense these things and he moves on.

There is so much that we do not understand  but regularly with myself this is what is taking place and all that matters is the people who had a feeling a spirit in their house are relieved because that spirit has moved on and even more relieved knowing that a friend of theirs or a loved one of theirs has come to them and they have said move on to me this is the most beautiful situation and it seems to be happening with myself more and more and it is my privilege to help.
